Design Options issue

what does the 'active only' checked box do in design options? I thought unticking it would show the other option that you have in your design option but it doesn't, whether i leave it ticked or not ticked nothing seems to happen so what is it there for? I would like to be able to copy and paste a few elements from my other option and i don't want to keep having to change views to do it, it takes too long

Exclude options is only to be able to select the items that are in a design option. e.g. the elements of the primary option when in the main model.

So yes, you have to switch between:

-design options

-views wherein VG a design option is selected

So what does ticking or unticking the active view do?

When you choose to edit an Option, tick the Active only will not let you select and edit any elements outside of the Option, including the Main Model; untick it will let you.

You cannot show elements of different options withij a option set concurrently.

yes I've just realised, it seems you can only show elements in the main model within your option set
