Default manual dimension value to subfamilies

Barthbradley taught me to use "1=2" to clear newly created y/n value to all subfamilies within a family. Thank you.

I wonder what to do to set a newly created dimension value to all subfamilies ?

I just gone thru 32 subfamilies to set a manual dimension value, and it was not pleasant. The default 0'-0" will kill the family at insert.

Perhaps a good learning next time around.

If you want to set all types within a family to have a default dimension of x, input that value into the Formula Column & click apply. This will set the x value to all types. Then delete the value from the formula column and it will remain in each type but will be editable in the family. I hope that makes sense.
