DB Link & MySQL

Has anybody out there been able to get DB Link to work with MySQL.  I am not looking for an export I want to maintain a bidirectional connection.  I have seen it work properly with MS SQL Express  but I would really prefer to utilize MySQL.  Every time I get the MySQL connection setup it tests the connection but then nothing happens,  no progress bar or anything.  I suspect this is an issue with the add-in itself, but it sure would be nice to have it fixed so that we had alternates to Microsoft bloat platforms.

Hello,

Kindly note that I have the same problem dealing with Mysql (oracle), I can't establish the connection or have a bidirectional connection, and the provided videos are not clear.
