Hi all, was just wondering if there is a way to show curve massing with edges? As I would like to view it in my Hidden Line style.

Hi @pearlofsadness

Did you try to turn the ambient shadow ON? Or even the silhouette lines would help you...

Hi Alan,

I tried all the tips u gave but I actually just wanted Hidden Line Style... I am still baffled as to why edges doesn't show when I have a curve/cushion massing form...

But I can compromise, so I am actually using V and U grids currently to make it seem like its own edges... But is there a way to like change the U and V grid colours after completing the Family and Mass? Also, how would I be able to make the "Cushion" Transparent again after using this method? Coz now it is like a solid colour with the grids... Because I kind of used the regular Rectangle pattern..

Applied U&V Grids and a Rectangle Pattern on the Cushion FamilyApplied U&V Grids and a Rectangle Pattern on the Cushion FamilyNow the massing is no longer having any transparency and I want the lines to be Black..Now the massing is no longer having any transparency and I want the lines to be Black..

Sadly object with 3d parabolic arc and curve won't show in hidden and consistent view regardless what you do. Even a sphere won't show up edges in hidden line. You have to add your own lines in the family or set it to shade/realistic to make it show.

I just use spline and pick the 3 points

Once you load in your family, it will show model linemodel line.png
