hi everyone,
i am working on a project for internal stone cladding and paving.
The aim is to build a revit model (in version 2021) and generate the stone panel cut list as a schedule for fabrication.
Here are the typical configurations:
Horizontal 1200mm c/c center line with 2mm panel gap.
Vertical 600mm c/c center line with 2mm panel gap.
i tried 2 different ways to do it.
1) i use curtainwall function to create the setting out by 1200x600 and load a customized 1200x600 curtain panel family with 1mm offset from each sides. However, revit will consider the family size as 1200x600 and when i get to the curtain panel schedule, the outcome width and height will be 1200 x 600 instead of 1198 x 598.
2) i draw the setting out on the elevation by using reference plan and then load a customized stone cladding panel family (1198W x 598H). However, Revit seems cannot sort the family by width and height and just simply give out the number of each family type by generic model schedule.
What i want is to generate the actual stone cut list ( exclude the 2mm panel gap) as 1198 x 598 directly from the model.
Hope you guys can share the best way to do it.
