Copying Family Types

Hello just wondering if there is any way to copy the family types table from one model to another. I have tried to use copy family parameters add inn but i can only get that to copy the  parameter name over not the value which i also need copied over also it dose not copy the different types over . Do you Guys have any other ideas on how to do this i tried to export the family types but could not get them to import into my other model.

Save As and copy paste the model of the family in?

That would work but it wont let you copy models in if they aren't hosted to the same thing.  because the model i want to copy the the family type data from is a wall based and the one i want to paste it to is a  non hosted model

Oh, you can convert a wall based family to a face based, then edit the face based to get rid of the face to make it a non host.
