Coordination Review Alert

Hi,

We some wonderings about the Coordination Review Warning in 2020. We have a model for all the levels and grids in a project. The Levels and Grids model is linked to all the workin models in the project, and the levels and grids are copied with Copy/Monitor.

If I open the Levels and Grids and, for example, change the name of a level. And if I then open one of the working models i which the levels and Grids model are linked to, I get the warning "Instance of link needs Coordination Review". If I click OK and do nothing about the Coordination Review, next time I open the model the warning don't pops up. I'm qute sure that earlier, the warning poped up every time until you made the Coordination Review. It's a little bit risky not getting the warning every time. It's easy to forget if you don't mak the Coordination Review the first time. Has this been changed in 2020?

I'm not so sure about that.

It's even riskier to ignore the warning. If you don't ignore it, the problem is solved.

For every person like you that wants to see the warning every time, there are others that don't need to see it every time.

Not really. That tells you how to fix the warnings and that wasn't the question. It wa why the warning dialouge only appears once. If you klick OK on the warning dialouge when you open the model and just ignore fixing the Coordination Review, the warning won't appear the next time you open the model,

Patient walks into the doctors office and tells the doctor, "Doc, my shoulder hurts when I do this." as he twists his head and tries to touch his ear with his shoulder.

Doctor says, "Well. don't do that."

@RobDraw

You are probably right about the warning popping up every tim you open the model. I'm remember it wrong. The levels and grids model needs to be updated (not changed but saved/synced again) for the warning to pop up.

Well, yes, the best way to handle the warnings is when they appear. But that is not the reality, always.

Absolutley about the warning dialouge. Maby a checkbox "Don't show this until new changes...", or something?

Your asking for new functionality. Time to go to the IDEAS forum.
