I'm using a colored room tag on my floor plans. However, when the tags reach the stairway, the color is "hiding" under the steps. In some stairways a portion of the steps are colored and the other portion are the default white. In others the entire stairway is the default white color.
I have tried
1. recreating my tags
2. cutting a section and adjusting the height of the tag to go above and below the stairway.
3. and a filled region with the color I need instead
None of these options have worked.
Any ideas?
Can you share screenshot of the behavior + family?
Are yoy talking about the room tag or the room element it self? If it is the room, I think stairs is white because it is a 3D object and it goes to upper floor. And the reasons you see different colours where the stairs is the cut plane height of the view.
@Anonymous
I think you are confusing between a Room and a Room Tag. A Room Tag always stays on top of any model elements no matter what (and you cannot adjust its elevation because it is an annotation object).
Solutions:
- Change the Room Color scheme to foreground
- Or, change the Stair category to 100% transparent
let me know if these pictures help. I want my stairs to be yellow, not white.

Use the Department Schema.
