Changed Escalators to Generic Model but Still Not Showing Properly in Plan

I changed the escalators from Specialty Equip. to Generic Model, but they are still projecting in plan view.

The escalators go down underneath the floor on level 1, but still show through the floor in the first floor plan. Please help !

I could guess but I would rather you post your Project File so that I don't have to guess.  You'd probably like that better as well. Right? Or no?

They are visible because they are still within the View Range of the Level 1 Floor Plan.

The escalators need to be visible, just not where they are below the level 1 floor (underneath the floor shown in red lines).

Open the Families, including the Nested Families, and select all the Detail Linework in Plan View and uncheck Draw in Foreground in the Properties Pallet.

Thanks ! I really appreciate your help. Looks much better.

One last question - with this solution, it removes the top handrail / newel and skirt from view (see circled in red). Any way around that?

There is no geometry visible in Plan View. See the geometries Visibility Settings.
