Change witness lines to two different types

I see how to change the witness lines in dimension styles.  My question is is it possible to have a different line style for each witness line?  I would like a solid line dimension from a wall, but a centerline style for the other witness line when it is to a column centerline, plumbing fixture centerline, etc.  I know this is possible in AutoCad, but cannot figure it out in Revit.

Yes, you can do that. Look at the Type Properties of the Dimension Type in the above Screenshot I posted.

I though you wanted 2 styles depending on what you are dimensioning.

No, one style with two different witness lines, depending on what I am dimensioning.

Sure thing.  Edit your dimension type and assign a centerline pattern to center reference.  For it to work, the witness must be a center reference plane in a family.
