Casting shadows on a site plan, sloping ground

Hi, How do I accurately cast shadows on a plan view that has a sloping site?

With topo on, and 'ground plane at level' unchecked - the shadow is cast only to the extent that the topo surface has been drawn (as per first screenshot)

If I turn off the topo surface and check 'ground plane at level' set to ground floor, it displays the full shadow however this is inaccurate based on natural ground levels.

Any suggestions here?

Thanks

Uncheck "Ground Plane at Level" under "Sun Settings".

If you want to cast shadow on sloped site accurately, you have to show the extend of the surrounding topo. Without those information, you aren't going to get the shadow casting accurately.

The shadows in the plan view are limited to the extents of the topography unlike the 3D view where it is not.

Tried that, as per my screenshot above
