Cannot Open Revit File

Hello community,

I am having a problem in opening my Revit 2021 File from Revit 2021. I have tried to open the file through Revit and it still couldn't be open. Below shows that after trying to open the file I am stuck on this screen;

I have been in Contact with Autodesk Support, but at the moment nothing is working:

-Temp files delete

-Clean uninstall & reinstall

-Graphic driver installed

-Revit 2021.1.8 installed

-no idea what we have to do

I have tried to open the Revit File on my colleague's PC and it works perfectly fine. My Colleague's PC is a different model than mine. Any suggestion in solving my issue? Thank you.

try to install latest updates from autodesk, update your graphics card driver to the latest, untick use hardware accelaration and tick audit when opening the file and see if helps. thanks

Could it be a PC performance issue? A lack of RAM memory, perhaps? How big is the file?

Did Support ask you for your Journal File?

hi, I have tried the method that you shared. So far the highest or the furthest the loading percentage could get to was 97%, and then it start to get stuck/crash. I need to close Revit through task manager.

Solution that I have tried:

- Install latest updates from Autodesk.

- Update my graphics card drive.

- Untick use hardware acceleration

- tick Audit when opening the file.

PC Model that I'm using right now with Specifications;

Model : ASUS TUF Gaming A15

Processor : AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics, 2.90 GHz

RAM : 16 GB

Windows Ver. 11

Processor : AMD Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon Graphics, 2.90 GHz

RAM : 16 GB

Disk Space : 314 GB free

Windows Ver. : Windows 11

I don't think this is due to the file size. Because I have tried to open 2 different file with different space, File A (14.8MB) and File B(54.7MB).The file I can't open was File A(14.8MB)

Hi, I don't think so. They didn't ask for one.

Is this happening for all files or just the one?

Is this file stored on BIM 360, local network, or local drive?

With/without links?

Hi, yea this just happened to 1 File.

This file was initially stored on a server. Then I copied it to my own PC along with the other Revit Files. Only this one, however, will not open on my PC. Thank you.
