Cannot find Revit 2019 family library folder

Can't find 2019 families library folder... I'm getting "C:\ProgramFiles" and not "C:\ProgramData\Autodest\RVT2019\Library\US Imperial". I can't find them even with browser option.

They should be under C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\RVT 2019\Libraries

Windows hides some folders by default. Have you checked the show hidden folders under windows explorer options?

A lot of people are not getting the content when downloading the program. There are a number of threads on this topic and where to download the content from.

Drafting is a breeze and Revit doesn't always work the way you think it should.

Hi @leonard_winton

I see that you are a new visitor. Welcome to the Architecture community.Smiley Happy

By default, family files are typically stored in a location like the following:

  • C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\<product> <release>\Libraries

Navigate to that location and see if it contains Revit family folders and files.

If not, the Revit content (including doors, windows, project templates, and so on) was not installed properly. (This issue can occur when you have a slow internet connection while installing the software.)

Solution: To install the Revit content (without needing to reinstall the software), see Add or Remove Revit Content.

I've downloaded the content via these links and have double checked that my window expolorer is showing hidden files. And still do not see the Libraries folder in the Program Files>Revit LT 2022 folder.

Any other solutions that people know of?
