Can't Modify Existing Object

I am working on a project that a former coworker set up.  He somehow added a table into the project that I cannot select.  I need to change the color of the table as it is a prominent object in the room.  I can't find the table in the families or the groups.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

He could have pinned it and you Revit is set to not selecting pinned element.  Check the icon circled below.

It isn't pinned as I can select pinned objects.  It's almost like he brought it in as some sort of object that REVIT doesn't recognize.  It's a large conference table with chairs around it and I cannot select the table or the chairs around it, however I can select other chairs in the room.  If I remember correctly it was first drawn in AutoCAD so maybe he brought in some weird file from CAD to REVIT?

It could be a linked CAD file. Check the Select Links icon (the 1st one in the image above).

Thank you for the continued help, and I checked and I have all the icons you showed in the link turned on.  I'm not sure what to do or if there is a way I can contact Autodesk to get direct help from them.

Save the project to a new file, strip everything except for that unselectable object and upload it here. If you are okay with uploading the entire original file then it's fine too.

I believe I have figured it out.  It was an option and I had to uncheck the box labeled "Exclude Options".  Thank you for your help.
