can model-inplace sweep with void

it is possible that a model in-place sweep can cut with void like wall reveal? or any suggestions? thanks

Why not use the Wall: Reveal tool? what are you trying to do?

Create In-Place Void and then before you close out of In-Place Modeling Session, use the Cut Geometry tool to cut the System Family Geometry with the Void.  

 

Note: not everything will "cut".  For instance, you can't cut Stairs or Loadable Families with In-Place Voids.

@hmunselli know what you mean. i had already mention that is a model in-place sweep profile and cannot use wall to do this. thanks

Edit that model in place and add the void, then use cut geometry and finish.

so you have a element that was modeled in place, and you want to place a void on it to represent something similar to a Reveal? unfortunately Reveals can only be placed on walls. edit your Model in place and add the needed voids/cuts.

in this example i made the in-place family a wall, but it can be anything...
