Border Tile : Partial leaves overhang

I have a very simple case:

a surface (not rectangular  is divided into a grid pattern.  I have an adaptive curtain panel assigned to fill this pattern.

why is there a 2" overhang of my curtain panel when my Border Tile setting is set to partial?  It trims perfectly on some but not on others. (See attached pic)

But this solution only solves the geometry, but not the quantities. Is there a solution to the quantity problem? Kindly find the link to the file: https://wetransfer.com/downloads/8d82d29de4da47f3214465703e1cef3920190917050849/5d25fd496dc742cee0b3...

I also have another problem; that I have 3 pattern-based families with nested families (2 nested families each), so it doubles the quantity of the nested families despite the border.

For example: no. of Hexaplates  - Pattern-based 1= 288 whilst no. of hexaplates (Generic) = 576.

Another idea is to make an in place geometry (solid) as SEO (Solid Element Operations) element and subtract (join/cut) this solid from your surfaced mass. Then assign this solid to a seperate subcategory (named SEO ie.) and turn that off in views/view templates.

Possibly then it would result in the correct geometry as well as volume? I haven't tested that yet, but this should then also work for curtain panels/mullions and or glazed roofing.

I agree. This issue has been going for way to long. Everytime I have this issue I spend time searching online for an answer hoping they have resolved it! Still nothing. Have they resolved in in 2020 version? If so I will use that instead of 2019.
