Beam is not joining with Extruded column

I have made a column by Model in Place and also placed a beam next to it. These two are not joining. Beam stops at some distance from the column.

It is a cutback property when the beam material behavior is set to concrete

  1. Either stretch the Beam across to the other side of the Column's Bounding box then Join Geometry (See GIF 1)
  2. OR Edit the beam Family and change the Material Behavior from Concrete to Other (See GIF 2)
