Beam Annotation with Dynamo

Hi,

I want to create annotations for beams with Dynamo. I found several different posts related to annotation but to be honest I got lost.
I want two types of annotations as you can see in the screenshot. First overall width of beam from face to face, second is face to center.

I started to write something but it is too far from finishing the script yet.
I found this post related to annotation but I couldn't make it work.

It helps even if you can give me a starting idea so I can get some results at least.
Thank you very much.

Can't you just simply use a beam tag?

Thank you for quick response as always Toan

I think it is the easiest and best method, but my company has some little different rules, Japanese style😅

And to be honest, I am just interested in Dynamo and I want to use it more often in my work

Dynamo is great to harvest and exposed non-accessible or hardly accessible information from the model, or to execute repetitive tasks, or for generative design. What you are asking is none of those so I don't see a point, except the 'rules' that you mentioned. There are plenty of other things more useful if you want to learn Dynamo upon.
