It looks like this will become available for purchase on August 19th. My question is, does this product become available to subscription suite customers or is this another itemization? I'm curious to know more about how the Revit to Max workflow is going to work with this product - Is it basically just an .FBX link to Max as before, with a manual refresh button or is there more interaction than just that?

its going to be a separate purchase as far i know unless you have Maya lt on subscription

i think its using .fbx there is going to be a lot more interaction between 3ds Max & stingray

a short video autodesk has released: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mAHa2rVHq6A

Stingray is the gaming engine + game creation environment.  Project Expo is an architectural-focused implementation of Stingray, that aims to deliver an immersive 3D experience without requiring the game creation environment of Stingray.

Stingray is to Project Expo, as 3DS Max is to cloud rendering.  If you really want to get into the guts of building a game based on your Revit BIM, use full Stringray.  If you want to generate an immersive 3D experience at the expense of some confuguration, then use Project Expo.

It's a Tech Preview, so it's free for now.  Go test it out and provide us feedback.  I've done it myself....pretty impressed thus far.  I can't wait until we get the hookup to Oculus Rift going.
