Autocad layers not visible

Hello all,

I link an dwg in Revit and some layers are not visible. I already checked the V/G of the layers in revit and all the layers are checked.

I tried also in AutoCAD to explode all, but the problem remains.

Do you have any idea?

Thank you in advance!

Hi @mairh_tsek ,

thanks for posting that.

When linking the CAD file did you choose all layers or just selected? I would try that once more.

Are these "some layers" listed in the VG of Revit?

Also, is it possible to post the cad file for others to try narrow it down?

Cheers,K

I chosen both selected and all layers and the result is the same... Yes in V/G all the layers are listed visible and no visible and all of them are checked. It is not possible to poste the dwg here..

Thank you!

See if this helps: https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-mep-forum/some-layers-of-an-imported-cad-not-showing-up-in-revi...

The workaround was to explode and pack it into a new dwg.

Finally I copy paste the elements in another dwg file and it worked.

thank you for your time!
