Any way to manage the Layout and model space of DWG exported from Revit?

I am trying to find a way to manage the sheets that I exports from Revit to DWG. 

Each sheet that I export include 2 layouts in DWG which I do not want to have the second one. 

Also I would want to be able to define the layout names in DWG Exports.

The other important problem is when I export a sheet which includes a part of the plan then I have the exact area in model part of the DWG export which I wish I could have the full plan as a model and the certain part in the layout with sheet.

Any one can Help?

You would have to uncrop the views temporarily before export to DWGs to get the full extent of the plan in model space and adjust the viewports to the cropped size in AutoCAD.

I have no answers to the other questions.

The fact is that I am exporting the sheets not the views so if I do not crop them then they wont be correct in the layout area. I want to avoid working on DWG files after exports because we deliver the DWG to the client and this is an extra work that we are doing know after each export.

That's why I suggested you to un-crop the View on Sheet temporarily for the export task.  After it, you can re-crop them.  This can be done fairly quickly by select all the Views needed via in the browser and change them all at once.  You do need to open the DWG files and stretch the viewport to the correct size, but you have the entire plan in the model space.

I understand this is more work than you anticipated, but I cannot think of any other solutions.

I highly doubt you will get an output that doesn't require some work in AutoCAD, especially if you are exporting sheets and want the entire model in model space. There is only so much you can do as the platforms are entirely different.

Why does the client need sheets in AutoCAD? I would think that model space would be the important part. Sheets can be handled in a different fashion.

The last time that I exported a RVT sheet to DWG, I ended up with a bunch of references that needed to be bound. The only way out would be to delete the one that you don't need.

And no, the references are not cropped. You will not be able to get the whole plan. What you see is what you will get. Sorry!

it will be ok in the model space then but wrong in the layout. then I should correct all the layouts in CAD also. this will take more time:(

the client do not work with Revit so we publish both PDF and CAD for them. and they both should be the same in layout space. and they want to see the full plan in the model space.

I would check to see if it would be okay to give them the PDFs for the sheets and then just export overall views for model space. When sending AutoCAD files, I always delete title blocks unless specifically requested to include them and then I delete our company information.

Did you try un-checking the check box at the bottom of the dialogue box (pic below) if you want all the views to be in the same drawing?

Don't hold your breath. You are going to have to figure out a way to get the desired result yourself. I think if you export using XREFs and overall views, a little trickery with repathing might get you there.

So, the project requires AutoCAD files and you did it in Revit?

Next time, you could still do the modeling in Revit but I would use AutoCAD for creating the sheets utilizing files exported from Revit as XREFs for model space.

They want both Revit and DWG. An we prefer working with Revit. So I was just wondering that if there is any way or plugin for these futures that we can use to speed up our work progress on these export files.

Either there is some sort of misunderstanding or something is very wrong here. Requiring sheet output in two formats is, IMHO, ridiculous. I hope the fee for the project is appropriate for all the extra work involved, because there really is no easy button as the two platforms are totally different.

I'm trying to understand your requirement to take it further into consideration.

However, we are not clear on what exactly your requirement is. Can you provide a simple illustration/sketch of the idea below and what 'setting' you require as highlighted? Are you looking how to position views on a sheet? Do you want a sheet layout/ view parameter or custom field/drop down menu? Please elaborate so we can gather support for your idea.
