Annotation crop isn't working

Hi, I have an issue with the annotation crop. It isn't cropping out a section line.  Is it to do with an annotation crop offset? How do I fix it?

I think the issue might be to do with the actual extents of the section being beyond the section mark.

Hide by element.

Thanks. That was it! the extents went inside the crop region ever so slightly.
