Wall not showing Black on Area Plans in realistic mode

The walls are not showing black cut on the area plan when it's turned to realistic mode. The material and VG are set correctly. The only thing is the area colour is covering the wall cut color in the realistic mode. Any suggestions how to show the wall cut to be black in the realistic mode?

Set the color scheme location to background.
