Angled wall & windows

Hi,

I have an existing structure which has an angle wall and a window frame that matched the slope of wall.

Please find attached.

How do I go about constructing that in the model?

There are many ways to model those but the below should be the easiest.

Angled wall:

Window:

A curtain wall with edited profile to match the angled wall.

I should clarify something. The wall in the above screenshot is NOT 8" as the Type Name suggests.  It's 1'-4". In order to get something closer to the Tapered Angles you show in your screenshot, the width of the Wall will need to be even greater.

Thanks barthbradley,

I'm only worried about how to create a sloping wall (perpendicular to the view)  & window to match.

I'm not sure what the slightly taped line next to sloping wall is. But thanks for your post.

Slanted an tapered walls are not available in 2020.  You will need to create the wall using one of the following:

  • Create a sloped mass and create a wall by face
  • Create an in place wall
  • Create a roof instead of a wall
