Analytical Properties Greyed Out

Hello, I am pretty new to Revit and I seem to have run into a problem. I am trying to get the analytical properties to populate but they are greyed out.

I read that these are driven properties and to edit the structure of the roof, which I did below.

Unfortunately I am still not getting my (U), (R), and "Thermal Mass values. Any thoughts?

You have to add material thermal property to the asset inorder for the analytical properties to show up. To add the thermal property to the material, you have to make sure it is thermal aspect

Once you add to the thermal to the material, the analytical will start to populate.

Thank you. This makes sense. I need to tell it the material that actually makes up what I said it is. i.e. the brick is this certain type of brick.

I have it working now! Again, thank you.

Hello I am also new to Revit and I am having a similar issue with my analytical properties. I am trying to run a Daylight Analysis Model using Rhino and Climate Studio and have realized I need to modify the glazing in Revit. I am trying to change the VLT and Glass SHGC. However, when I go to edit type in the curtain wall I am trying to modify, there is no analytical properties tab. Any thoughts?
