Adding new materials to Library

How to add materials to a Library so they can be used in a model?

What didn't work for you?  What did you do?

Adding new materials did not work the way I tried.

List the steps of your workflow.   I have no idea what you've done.

• ANNOTATE
• REGION
• DRAW (RECTANGLE)
• PROPERTIES (EDIT)
• SELECT FOREGROUND PATTERN (MODEL)
• CAN'T FIND .PAT, OR NEW PATTERN PHOTOS (SEE BELOW)

No wonder you are lost. Those steps have nothing to do with adding new materials to  library. They are not even close.
