3D move gizmo not showing up on this drawing, but shows up for other 3D forms I have made

3D move gizmo not showing up when I made this 3d cylinder form: 

Other forms I've made it will show up to where I am able to adjust the 3D move gizmo:

Model the cylinder as one piece instead of two halves.

I would suggest it was how the Mass Shape was created.  Is it a rectangular shape following a circular sweep?

There also seems are a couple of dimensional Parameters in the properties palette.

I created a cylindrical mass then a cylindrical void mass and cannot select the half face as you have which would indicate different techniques but get the Transform Gizmo using this method
