Using Macros to place detail groups on a specific spot on the plot sheet

Not sure if this is the right group to post.  I am curious if its possible to use a macro to place specific detail groups in a specific place on the sheet.  Used to be able to do this quite nicely in AutoCAD.  I am fairly new to this so I am not asking for the exaxt code just a push in the right direction to make this happen.  I am currently using Revit 2012.  Thanks.

On Revit we usually create plug-ins for tasks, so you may need to take a look at our starting material at www.autodesk.com/developrevit
