Set updater as optional doesn't work.

Hi everybody,

I created an updater and it's working perfectly. But the problem is, if other people open my project  without my plugin they received a missing plugin message. I don't want that. I try to set my updater optional but nothing works. I  tried save as, audit, etc, with no success. So I'm stuck with that for ever. The only way  I found is to recreate my project from scratch without the plugin enabled. Not very interesting because I created a plugin that I can't use.

Thanks,

André

Try changing the AddInId GUID of the add-in, and then set the optional flag.

Thank you for your suggestion but it doesn't seems to work. I found more information in this post https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-api-forum/unable-to-disable-warning-for-missing-third-party-upd...
