Revit 2022 freezes on component selection . CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess.exe ???

Hello,

Not sure if this is the right place for the question.

With the new image (Citrix VDI) we have the problem that revit 2022 freezes when we want to select a component the propertiesbar.

If we look at the processes with are actief there is one proces actief: CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess.exe

When we kill this proces Revit runs fine. If we kill al of them...Revit runs fine. So there is no need for the proces to exist from what I can see.

When we run Revit on a stand alone. It runs fine. With all (4) CefSharp.BrowserSubprocess.exe.

I found that this a generic/ much used proces. But is there a way to find out where the problem is being generated? Or has anyone had this problem also and knows what the problem is/might be?

Sincerely Tom Bannink

Please note that this discussion forum is dedicated to programming Revit using the Revit API.

Therefore, if you are not programming anything yourself using the Revit API, this is not the optimal place for this issue.

You cannot expect an answer to a question such as yours relating to system requirements, installation, product setup, optimisation, usage or other end user support issues here.

You should try one of the non-API Revit product support discussion forums instead for that:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-api-forum/this-forum-is-for-revit-api-programming-questions-not...

The people there are much better equipped to address this topic than us programming nerds.

I hope this clarifies.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.

Best regards,

Jeremy

Was this problem resolved? I have the same problem and cannot find anywhere else that the question has been asked.

I would add 2 solutions to this:

Turn off any web browser when working in revit, Crome and "Edge" both did it to me OR even better turn off the addin "Revit 2022 BIM 360 Issues Addin" That fixed the issues for me!
