Create RebarFromCurves_Dynamo

Hi!

I am trying to create rebar for beams by drawing curves in Dynamo.

But I don't know why when I join 3 curves into 1 polycurve the Create.FromCurve node doesn't work (picture 2)

Anyway, when I put in 3 curves, it turns out to be 3 seperated rebar like in picture 1.

I also attach my dynamo file. Can some one please helps me out.

Kind regards.

I have fixed my problems.

Turns out because  I am using Revit 2021 and I created rebar by using nodes from packages Structural Design.

I changed to package Structural Rebar and updated to version 2.0.2 then everything works great.

Hi,
I've came across your post while I was trying to resolve the same problem.
I'm trying to create rebar by curve using Rebar.byCurve node from DynamoRebar package. Everything works fine except from the bar creation. I have a U-shape polycurve but everytime I run my dynamo script it puts rebar separately on every line instead of creating one continous line. I suspect the package problems.

In your case you said that solution was to download the Structural Rebar package but I cannot find it. I'm also using Revit 2021.

I'm attaching my script, maybe you could take a look at my approach.
I'll appreciate any help.

Best regards,

Hi,
" Rebar.byCurve " is normaly used for longitudinal rebars,
For the stirrups, you have to use "Rebar.bycurves" , (plurial)
Certainly it fixs your problem.
Cordialement

You should use "Rebar.by Curves" node instead of "Rebar.by curve node"
