Description
This request has been raised by Japanese Revit users regarding Revit link workflows.
See the post:https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/revit-aidia-ri-ben-yuforamu/revitrinkunofuroa-zhi-ding/idc-p/12316202...
In large projects, models are often split into multiple files to manage file size. However, when linking another Revit model, all levels are loaded by default.
This results in unnecessary data being loaded, which negatively impacts performance and model handling.
Request
Please allow users to choose between linking all levels or only selected levels (e.g., specific floor ranges) when linking a Revit model.
Alternatively, allow level selection to be modified after linking and applied through reload.
Rationale
This would reduce unnecessary data loading and improve performance, especially in large-scale projects with multiple linked models.
It would also provide more flexible and efficient model coordination workflows.
