Hello everybody, Someone knows why we can't post Recap Laser Project on the Gallery anymore ?

We can only share "photo to scan" project on the community Gallery. However, I already post Laser Scanner project previously but now it doesn't work anymore.

I hope you can help me.

Hi @Anonymous,

Is your project scan data in structured format? Structured scans are "fixed-origin" or tripod scans - data coming from scanners on a tripod (static or terrestrial scanners). For example, formats like FLS,ZFS,PTX etc. Only those files can be used for noise clean up and scan-to-mesh feature. LAS files that you are working with fall under unstructured. 

More info on structured vs unstructured can be seen at this article.

At this time you can only publish structured scan to Web. Unstructured scans do not have RealViews therefore they will not be visible in ReCap Web and could prevent further viewing of the other scans on the Web. Please, let me know if this helps.

Hi,

My projet is a RCP file with RealView, and it doesn't works.

I try to export in RCP Unified, but the RealView disappears.

I already publish few project in Recap on web, but i can only share with mail adress. I can't share them on gallery ReCap.

I hope you have an other solution ...

At this time you can only share photo project to ReCap Gallery. Development team is a aware of this behavior and they are working on resolving this issue. We will provide you an update via Forum post as soon as one is available.
