Navisworks NWC Mesh Support for ReCap Photo and Scan to Mesh Service

Hi Everyone,

We are happy to announce the latest update to the Scan to Mesh Service/ ReCap Photo Service/ Forge Reality Capture API. This update addresses new features and bug fixes. Users of ReCap Pro/ ReCap Photo/ Forge will be able to experience these features without performing any application updates.

New Features and Fixes:

• NWC Mesh file generation by default for both ReCap Photo Aerial Workflow and ReCap Pro Scan to Mesh. The NWC mesh file can be loaded directly in Autodesk Navisworks, Civil3D, Revit, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Autodesk Drive. The NWC file will be supported for Autodesk Construction Cloud Document Management and Model Coordination.
• Fix for the issue where pressing the K key showed wrong camera positions for ReCap Photo generated Aerial RCM meshes.
