RCS Export stuck at 0%

We have had this problem on several computers. Sometimes it exports just fine but then suddenly for an export it stays at 0%. Initially it was thought that it was the size of the file we're exporting being too big but I've exported bigger just fine and the one I'm currently trying to export has been chopped up into smaller pieces. We thought maybe the hard drive is full but that's not the case because we have more than 1TB available. I've tried restarting the computer and that didn't help either.

Hi @Aryan.Sanikhatam ,

Which version of ReCap are you using?

Is the project big or with  a lot of editing? The project export might be slow if there are a lot of edits made on it.

Also, there is a known issue in the old versions of Recap: if there is already a file with the same name as the file you want to export, it will hang at 0%. Please check if you already have the file with the same name.

Thanks,

Yan

Same issue here Recap 2023, Big cloud but Stuck at 0% since 2 days... none of the computer resources are used... I've tried with small size project it worked. Is there a limit size point cloud we should know for exporting ?

Hi @gbouvard @Aryan.Sanikhatam ,

Any possibility of us having your datasets so that we can investigate. If yes, I'll PM you a private one drive link to share the dataset.

Thanking You.

i think the problem is with the maner that i managed my datas i term on phisical hardware, my temps files are on an external USB 3.0 hard drive and i was exporting on a NAS on my local network...

i've update my workstation to work internally now with temps files on C: and exporting on an internal 😧 HDD of 10TB, will see if that is working..
