Im Angelo, currently working as a design engineer.
Ladies and gentlemen, lately my team has been pushing my bosse´s buttons regarding changing our standard design software to Autodesk because its cheaper and also we might be adquiring Nastran as well so we can stop using Ansys for the same reason. Its around a 75% decrease in cost.
So, we normaly export reports from our simulations, we even adquired a tool to do this automatic with a report generator tool, as easy as press a key thing.
As we might be chaging softwares in the next months ive been tasked to find out if Nastran reports could be customizable in any way, structure, language, adding custom images and such.
Another question is that ive been reading that Nastran reports only work with linear FEA, is this true?
