Hi, this my first time on the forum. I already search but I don't find the sollution:
I install my monthly licence this morning. When I opened the software, my render setting window was "wrong" like link in picture. I can't have it in the normal size, it the first time I have this problem.
Have you already had this problem ? How to fix it ? I can't send my renders for now... This is only for the common render, the rest is working good ( arnold renderer, system,...)

Thank's by advance for your answer !

Ok cool, try creating a new .ma scene, then import your old scene into it.

Hopefully that will help!

My render setting window is all of a sudden like this today too on the System tab. Theres absolutely no way to resize it and make it larger and I'm so frustrated.

I just had the same issue. I wasn't able to fix it in my scene, but I opened a new scene and referenced my 'broken' scene (File-->Reference Editor-->Create Reference). Render Settings menu is back to normal.

Same, this is a problem with Maya 2024. I noticed it happens when I install Redshift. Had to revert back to 2023.

Hello! I was experiencing the same issue. My common tab for "Redshift" and "Arnold" were shrunk. My problem was rooted in the fact that I had locked my pixel aspect and device aspect ratio. By switching to the "Maya Software" renderer in the Render Settings, I could access the common settings and unlock the "Device aspect ratio" and the "pixel aspect ratio". Once they were unlocked, I could see the expanded view of the common tab in my renderers. I hope this solves your issue too!

This usually happens when the Render Settings UI gets corrupted or scaled incorrectly, often due to preferences or display scaling.

  1. Reset Maya preferences
    Close Maya and rename:

    Documents/maya/<version>

to something like maya_old, then restart Maya.

  2. Check Windows display scaling
If you’re on Windows, make sure display scaling is set to 100% (sometimes 125% or 150% breaks older Maya UIs). Restart Maya after changing it.

  3. Reset the Render Settings window
Go to Windows → Settings/Preferences → Preferences → UI Elements and reset UI settings if available.

  4. Switch renderer and back
Temporarily change the renderer (for example to Maya Software), close Render Settings, then switch back to Arnold.

This is a UI/layout issue, not a licensing problem, and resetting prefs or fixing DPI scaling usually resolves it completely.
