Can't tell from your video if you are every actually displaying gradient as your background.

Toggle thru all the views using alt + b   until you get to the gradient bg.   And then use the color manager to change the top and bottom..

If you aren't in the gradient BG,  the  changes won't be visible

Finally found the error its because of the newly installed AMD driver .

Did you fix this issue? I also have this issue. I don't see how the latest driver causing it is the solution. Did you roll back your driver? I'm having trouble doing that.

Well this is a new card and this is the driver it came with so its kind of a pain to try to install an older driver thats not rolling back. I'm just going to suffer with it until one day, magically the problem goes away. Sort of like the disappearing and/or unselectable geo in viewport thats been going on for years and multiple versions of maya (on both cards, on many computers) Its annoying but if you find it in the outliner and select it there, you fix it!

I just bought an Nvidia card, and sold my Radeon one. I know that's not ideal but it was simple.
