I am working on a BIG project. This is the FIRST of many parts I am trying to work on a Japanese Zero from WWII for some reason I can't seam to line up the drawings correctly. Can someone help?

I took the images into photoshop then cut them and eliminated what I didn't want. I am also providing two screen shots. Screen Shot 2018-06-05 at 3.43.24 PM.pngScreen Shot 2018-06-05 at 3.45.47 PM.png

Hi @jimz66

From the look of your screenshots you actually appear to have everything lined up pretty perfectly.

Yes some might be off by a few pixels but this often happens even when modeling from a reference. It also looks like all you really need to do is simply move a few pieces around. For example, the glass for the cockpit can be moved up a little bit which will fix the side perspective without affecting the top down view.

Another key thing to keep in mind when modeling like this, is to constantly check how the model looks in a 3d perspective to make sure everything is proportional and you don't get too sucked in to one view.

Aside from that I'd say keep going at the pace you're going and I look forward to an update!

Hey @jimz66

Just wanted to check in to see how things were going. Did my post from yesterday help you at all?

Not really the answer I was hoping for but I'll have to work with it. Thanks.
