Does IGS generate a primitiveID, or objectID, per hair? Old Xgen did, but I can't figure out how to access the ID for the hair, other than with the AI utility using UniformID.
Is there an expression I can snag to use in the AIUserOptions? I know you can get the primitiveID in OG XGEN, but how do you do it in IGS?
I've seen a few tutorials that say to use the curve_id, but I can't find how to actualy use that.

At the moment no IGS does not generate IDs per hair. I believe the only way you'll get the proper IDs is like you said by using classic Xgen.

Dang, I was hoping that wasn't the answer.
I came up with a work around, using the aiUtility and the UniformID option, which generates a color for each hair, and then pumping a channel from that into the melanin of alHair or blending it into the aiHair, to get some per-hair color variation.
