Possible to select only corner edges? (for beveling not inner edges)

Hello,

often I have to select from dense objects the corner edges, e.g. stairs.

This is a tedious task, as there seems not to be any automatic detection.

But maybe there is a tool or something else?

Attached a screenshot example, after applying bevel already to the corner edges, not the inner edges.

It is even more a problem, as if you just forget a single edge, you can't include it afterwards in your bevel selection.

Select using constraints is what you want.

Select > Use Constraints.

I've made a quick gif showing you how. Notice that the options available to you in the UI are dependent on what you have selected and what mode you are in. I show you how it is different between object and edge mode.
