Mental ray render in maya 2016 returns just sky after tweaking lens or material

Dear Reader

You can get the scene file from this bottom link.

https://drive.google.com/open?id=1oC9DT4r7yX1pXuec4BzsVNw8FAcUxGPm

The thing is I have used sun and sky in the scene, mia material x, photographic exposure node. Whenever I tweak any setting in either the photographic exposure or material it returns only the sky when I render. So I have to select everything and re assign the mia material x, this way it starts working but only until I dont change anything in material or exposure node. Plus I tried to set white point to lesser white color so that my render is not as bright but it is not working at all. Please let me know any fix for the rendering problem.

Thanks in advance.

Arsalan

Hi @Anonymous

Is your Maya 2016 up to date? There have been similar issues in the past and updates/service packs to 2016 have since fixed them.

You can find downloads for these updates by logging in here!

Dear Heasley

I just installed the service packs 6 for both mental ray and maya but still the same, nothing changed.

Thanks for the help, let me know if there is still something I can do.

Regards

Hi @Anonymous

If you create a new scene with a few basic objects, materials and lights does the same issue occur?

Hi @Anonymous

Hmm ok.

What GPU are you using and is the driver version the same as our certified hardware list?

You can find our certified hardware list here!

If it's not the same, please uninstall your current GPU drivers and install the certified version!

Hi!

I can't reproduce this problem with any Maya version from 2016.5 upwards.

Please install the latest SP for your Maya and Mental Ray version.
