Hi community,
I'm still having this problem. I'm running Windows 10 and a GTX 1080 card.
If I open my hypershade, my UV editor, even my Arnold render window on my main screen it will open.
When I move that window to my second monitor close it. Then re-open it again Maya will fail to load that window and just sit there and do nothing. I can bring up task manager to close Maya and it closes with ease so it doesn't feel like a real crash. It just feels like the window is calling for something (maybe OpenGL related?), waiting, and the computer isn't giving it to the window.
This has been happening for months and I've been diligent in making sure that when I open those windows that I ether use them on my primary screen or make sure to close them on my primary screen. Now I've come to find out that My Arnold render window was on my second screen it it will not open.
I believe it's related to this issue https://knowledge.autodesk.com/support/maya/troubleshooting/caas/sfdcarticles/sfdcarticles/Maya-han...
But that fix does not work any more.
Again any type of refresh of the window on the second monitor will make Maya pause. Even if I have the UV editor on the second monitor and open up any of the drop downs in the UV Toolkit.
Please, please I'm begging for help! If anyone has ANY insight I'm all ears.
Thank you,
Craig
