Hi!
There are several things that i noticed in your scene.
Scene Setup:
1. It has some legacy render layers, that should not be a problem, just to make sure you know it.
2. You have a gravityField2 coupled with your simulation, this may lead to unexpected results (but seems to work).
3. Objects pCylinder46 to pCylinder60 have 2 Rigid Body Shapes assigned which share names with other objects, this will lead to unexpected results.
Rendering:
3. In the Render Settings activate Common -> Color Management -> Apply Output Transform to Render (then you get the same look with your rendered PNG-Files as with Render View)
Simulation:
4. To be able to render a bullet animation with Mental Ray, or to render individual frames, the simulation should be baked or exported.
a) with all simulated objects selected Edit -> Keys -> Bake Simulation

or
b) create an Alembic Cache File

Here's a link to an Autodesk website that I found worked when I had trouble getting Batch Render to work:
Basically, you delete / rename your Maya user prefs and scripts folders and restart Maya. DO NOT SELECT COPY OLD PREFS!!!
Hi @Anonymous
I'm just checking in to see if you need more help with your batch render. Did the suggestions that @mspeer and @NM8TR provided yesterday help fix your render at all?
If so, please click Accept as Solution on the posts that helped you so others in the community can find them easily.
All the best,
