Mash places out of the mesh input

I dragged the plane geo to the Input Mesh in Mash_Distribute. But the instancers are always out of the plane geo. It also seems overshaped than original plane shape.

How to fix it?

Thanks!

Hi @Anonymous  and welcome to the community!

Can you try freezing transformations and deleting the history of the plane before adding it to the MASH network and see if that changes anything?

Hi! I tried to attach a maya file several times but none of it worked. It shows a new empty forum after I clicked post. I'm not sure how to post a file here

Hi!

MASH is doing it correct.

The problem is not the ground shape, but the position (transform values) of the aiStandIn, it's not a scene-origin.

Replace the aiStandIn with a new object positioned at scene-origin and it will be scattered as intended.

That works! Thank you so much!
