nCache scale and timing problem

Hello! I am trying to in crease the setting scale on an nCache up to 10 instead of 1. However this provides a problem where the particles now have an unexpected jump every few frames. Is there a way to re-time the particles to animate smoothly or can this only be done by creating a new cache from the original nParticle system? Thank you for reading!

Hi Laura, Is there a possibility you can send me your file so I can see what you have going on.  kind of hard to tell what you have going on with out seeing the file.  If I understand correctly you have a particles system you have cached.. and you are wanting to scale the size (not the time) of the particles?  Is the size affected by time and distance traveled?  you can PM me a link to the file if you want.  Lets see if we can figure this one out? 😉

Thank you for taking the time to respond. I am actually looking to scale the time of the cache'd particles movement. When I do this, the particles have a strange jerking animation so I'm trying to figure out a way to re-time it or re-cache it to allow me to scale the time properly. The file is too big to attach so I'm using google dive. I've also attached a playblast of the problem I'm describing. Thank you for your time!

There may be other time stretching tricks. However you will  probably need to recache to create more sub samples.
