nHair nCache Issue

Hi guys,

I am having problems with an nCache issue.

The simulation runs fine before caching, but as soon as I run an nCache and then play the animation, the nHair flips out all over the place.

I have attatched the scene file as a .ma (was using Maya 2016 on El Capitan)

Thank you very much in advance,

Jack

Looking at the file I have noticed it is the strokes that come from the blue 'passive' follicles that are havinbg an issue and the ones from the red follicles stay put.

If this is any help for you people then great!

jakecole93 is correct. passive curve are not supported with nCache and useNucleus

From what we can tell passive are not supported with nHair and useNucleus in general.

Changing a curve to passive is the equivalent to reorder the verts index on a mesh. Basically your removing it from the points to sim.

So they can interfere with nConstraints as well.  because it changes the cv in the constraints.
