Set Driven keys help!!!!!!

Hey I am in desperate need of help,

I've been working on a character rig in maya and I had gotten to the point where I am creating set driven keys on a couple of controllers. the issue I'm having is when I rotate the base joint of the fingers for my character, the rest of the joints in the hierarchy wont follow it as seen in the image attached. Can anyone explain to me what is going on and how I can fix it????

Looks like the child joints are constrained or connected to an another thing (a finger controller for example). If it is, parent can't move the child.

From the outliner, I can see there are no constraints under the middle finger joints.  So I'm assuming there are no constraints holding the child joint in place.  Or did you parent the constraints somewhere else?

Did everything work fine before you created your SDKs?  If so, then it's the SDK.
