Problem name target blendshape

Hi!

I have a problem with the target names in my blendshape.

Everything was ok, I opened my file on another Maya and all my blendshape target names turned into W[0], W[1] etc. I don't know why and it's impossible to modify them now.

I don't know why and it's impossible to change them now.

Is there any way of finding the names I had originally?

Or how can I change them? (Because it all seems to be blocked).

Many thanks in advance.

the "names" you see in the channels for the blendShape, are actually "alias" names..

the underlying actually true names are W[0] W[1] W[2]

you should be able to re-alias them in the shape editor..  If not, there may be some sort of name conflict going on.

and you may want to just recreate the blendShape deformer node to start fresh
