.Net developertools.msi install

Hello,

1) I can't install developertools.msi When I try to do this, I get the error message: "Could not find any version od Microsoft Visual Studio"

I have Visual Studio 2022 and Inventor 2019

2) I thought I didn't need to install it, because  I found and opened a simple sample from: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/search-result/caas/simplecontent/content/lesson-1-the-basic-plug--E2-...

Everything works but when debugging locals tree is not the same as in VBA editor in Inventor

Same problem as in this topic:    https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/inventor-ilogic-and-vb-net-forum/vb-net-locals/m-p/10124791#M121584

Is it normal?

Accepted solution

According to this article, the developertools.msi from Inventor 2020 is only usable with Visual Studio 2017. Therefore I expect that the developertools.msi from Invent or 2019 is also only working with Visual Studio 2017.
